Meet The Owners

Richards Excavating is more than just heavy equipment and big jobs—we’re a homegrown business with deep roots in Columbiana, OH.

Jacob Richards launched the business in 2019 with a passion for moving dirt and a knack for getting the job done right. A few years later, in 2022, fellow Crestview High alum Haley Graham joined the team, bringing her bookkeeping expertise to make sure that while the machines ran outside, the business ran just as smoothly inside. By 2024, Haley became part-owner, officially making this a hometown team through and through.

We take pride in being locally owned, community-driven and always ready to roll up our sleeves. Whether we’re helping a neighbor prep their property or taking on a big commercial job, we approach every project with the same goal: honest work, done by people who care.
